MARCH FLIGHT AND A BITE

Hello Kamloops Flying Club members!

We are very excited to announce that the Kamloops Flying Club’s first annual ‘FLIGHT-AND-A-BITE’ spring kick-off social event is scheduled for Sunday March 26, 2023 at the Clubhouse.  PLEASE SAVE THE DATE in your calendar.

We look forward to having you and one guest join us at the clubhouse starting at 12:00 noon to enjoy a delicious hot lunch at NO CHARGE for KFC members, (NON-MEMBERS with up to one guest is $5 each. Non Members Please E-Transfer Kamloopsflyingclub@gmail.com). Of course, we will also have hot and cold beverages to wash it down.

We hope you will join us as we look forward to getting to know one another, put a face to a name, talk aviation and hear all about your flying goals for the year!

We ask that you respond as soon as possible by clicking the RSVP button below to give us an idea of the numbers to be expected.

NOTE:  Our event date aligns with the Vernon Flying Club’s pancake breakfast scheduled for the morning of the same day so wouldn’t it be great to support a fellow GA club by flying out to their breakfast in the morning and then flying home to enjoy a hot lunch at your own flying club!

As was mentioned in a recent KFC email, the club has made the move away from monthly meetings to QUARTERLY SOCIAL EVENTS.  We believe that doing so will promote increased member participation and better aligns with our goal of creating a social atmosphere.  We plan to hold the socials in the months March, June, September, and December with specific dates to be announced as those months approach.  With Mother Nature’s cooperation, these months should allow for reasonable weather making it easier for all to attend.
