The Kamloops Flying Club promotes general aviation activities as well as opportunities for continued education and social engagement with fellow aviators

Welcome to the Kamloops Flying Club

The Kamloops Flying Club has been a focus of aviation activities in Kamloops for the past 40+ years. In 2000 we became  COPA Flight 82 with our association with the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association. Through this relationship we have been involved with the COPA for Kids events which introduces our youth to the world of general aviation.

Every year we engage our fellow clubs in and around the province to host several fly-in events as well as fly-outs to their hosted events.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

The Kamloops Flying Club wishes all of it's members and the aviation community of Kamloops a very merry Christmas and a great New Year a head of us. We had a very successful Christmas dinner at the club this year which included members of the Thompson Valley Sport Aircraft Club as well as CASARA.

Aviation has always had it's challenges and the New Year will bring a variety of them for us to deal with. A strong aviation club stands a better chance of dealing with the challenges as a group. We encourage all of our present members to be ambassadors for the club and promote the club to other aviators to increase our numbers so we can be more effective.

We look forward to a stronger and more active club this year.  Please come out to offer your support to the club.

COPA for Kids

Associated with the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association  we offer youth between the ages of 8-17yrs an opportunity to experience flight in a typical general aviation aircraft.

We will be setting the Spring 2015 date early in the New Year.

To attempt to improve the organization of the event we will be limiting the total number of participants to 60. All participants must email to reserve a spot and a check-in time so as to minimize waiting time.

Visit the website for more information and to download the registration/waiver form to bring to the event. Email Blake at to reserve a spot.
