Welcome to the Kamloops Flying Club
The Kamloops Flying Club has been a focus of aviation activities in Kamloops for the past 40+ years. In 2000 we became COPA Flight 82 with our association with the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association. Through this relationship we have been involved with the COPA for Kids events which introduces our youth to the world of general aviation.
Every year we engage our fellow clubs in and around the province to host several fly-in events as well as fly-outs to their hosted events.
Join the Kamloops Flying Club to add your voice to the needs of General Aviation in Kamloops.

Fly-Out to Bella Bella
Blake and Orvin ventured to the central coast this summer to attend a military ceremony to recognize the first nations contributions to the war effort. The ceremony was held at Shearwater on Denny Island. It was a great day for flying and the scenery enroute was fantastic. The ceremony itself was very moving with many chiefs of the various groups in attendance. A memorial consisting of a totem pole, a 1/5 scale Stranraer aircraft on a post and a cenitaph were dedicated and a massive mural unveiled. The mural depicts a number of individuals who shaped the communites of the central coast.
Tyler and Dan flew down to Nanaimo to attend thier montly breakfast. Being the furthest pilots to attend they recieved free breakfast and free tee-shirts.
